Pauline Ivey, 97, of Cumming, died April 3, 2014.

Born Jan. 17, 1917, to the late E.H. "Sug" and Annie Belle Stephens, she lived most of her life in Dawson County before moving to Cumming 12 years ago.

Mrs. Ivey was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Her husband, Weldon Ivey; daughter, Frances Ivey; and son, Donald Ivey, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her nieces; nephews; caregivers, Inez Mathis, Anna Lewis and Betty Anne Bagley; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. April 5 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Bottoms officiating. Interment followed in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations were asked to be made to Embracing Hospice, 8013 Majors Rd., Cumming, GA 30041.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
