Pat Truitt, 80, of Cumming, died Jan. 24, 2017.

She was a devoted member of County line Baptist Church and very active in the homeless and Happy Timer's ministries.

Her love for gardening, when she was not busy in ministry, found her in her garden spending time with the Lord.

Her husband, George "Billy" Truitt, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, the Rev. Wayne and Shirley Truitt, the Rev. Scott and Lynn Truitt, all of Dawsonville, Wanda Truitt of Cumming; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Clara Byrd of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Heidi Byrd of Epworth; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ann and Wimp Crowe of Columbus, Bobby Coggins of Newnan; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 26 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Scott Truitt and Wayne Truitt and Wanda Truitt officiating. Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Donations were requested made to County Line Baptist Church Homeless Ministry, 430 Strickland Rd., Alpharetta, GA 30004 in lieu of flowers.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
