Parnell Goswick, 78, of Dawsonville, died May 20, 2015.

Born April 6, 1937 in Canton, Ga., to the late John and Donnie Hendrix, she had lived in Dawson County since 1988, having moved from Forsyth County.

Mrs. Goswick formerly operated a florist and greenhouse, and for 30 years, along with her husband, they owned and operated Goswick Muffler Shop.

She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Her husband, Winfred Goswick; and two brothers, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include a number of loyal friends and family.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. May 23 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. J. Eddie Mounce and William Turner officiating.

Interment followed in Sawnee View Gardens.

 

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
