Oliver Ollie Richard Wooden

Oliver "Ollie" Richard Wooden, 44, of Dawsonville, died May 19, 2013.

Born Oct. 20, 1968, in Baltimore, Md., he had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past nine years. Mr. Wooden owned and operated Slim and Trim Landscaping in Dawsonville and had also worked with Gould Billiards.

Survivors include his wife, Kelly D. Mezick of Dawsonville; children, Charlotte R. Wooden, Tristan B. Mezick, Daniel McCoy; mother, Anna R. Wooden of Maryland; brothers, Edgar Wooden, Michael Wooden, both of Maryland; three grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. June 1 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Emmanueal Loggins and Tonia Loggins officiating.

The family will receive friends beginning at 4 p.m. June 1 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help offset final expenses.
