Nancy Samples

Nancy Samples, 64, of Dawsonville, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008 at North Fulton Regional Hospital following a period of declining health.

 

Born in Fulton County, she lived most of her life in Gwinnett County before moving to Dawson County eight years ago.

 

Mrs. Samples was a devout Christian, reading her Bible daily.

 

She was also a loving wife and mother who will be greatly missed.

 

Her parents, William and Opal Capes preceded her in death.

 

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Norman Samples of Dawsonville; children, Jill and Allen Jones of Ball Ground, Brad and Maggie Samples of Watkinsville; sister, Janice and Doug Williamson of Lula; various other relatives also survive.

 

Graveside services were Friday, Aug. 29 at 2 p.m. at White Chapel Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jim Ferguson officiating.

 Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
