Mildred Ritts, 78, of Dawsonville, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009.

A native of Tennessee, she had lived in Dawson County for 28 years having moved from Alpharetta.

Mrs. Ritts was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Her husbands, Jeffy Dobson and William R. "Bill" Ritts; and a son, Joseph Robert Dobson preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Darlene Norrell, Joan Hilton, both of Florida, Deborah Jackson of Gainesville, James Dobson of Calhoun, Sheila Dobson, Richard Dobson, David Pruitt, all of Dawsonville, Andre Dobson of Fayetteville; sisters, Ivelyn Haney of Riverdale, Margaret West of Tucker; brother, Redean Robinson of Lithonia; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 29 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dean Pugh officiating.

Interment followed in Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
