Michelle "Shelly" Trabue Castell, 47, of Dawsonville, died July 6, 2013.
She was a loving wife and mother who loved to travel, garden and was very enthusiastic and adventurous. She was a graduate of Agnes Scott College, and a budget coordinator with Federal Reserve Bank.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Paul Castell of Dawsonville; son, Paul Louis Castell Jr. of Dawsonville; daughter, Lucy Michelle Castell of Dawsonville; parents, George and Mary Trabue of Kingsport, Tenn; sisters and brothers-in-law, Katie and Colt Puryear of Madison, Va., Julie and Scott Hanes of Winston Salem, N.C., Laura and Robert Wissert of Kingsport, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Jacqueline and Art Shand of Big Canoe; mother and father-in-law, Jeanne and Walter Kozik of Atlanta; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral mass was held at 11 a.m. July 9 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Following the mass, a reception and celebration of Shelly's life was held at the church. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
