Michael Larry Hamby, 35, of Dawsonville, died Nov. 4, 2010.

His father, Larry Hamby; and grandparents, Major and Ima Hamby and Belon and Dessie Holtzclaw, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughter, Gracie Hamby; mother, Sandra Hamby; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Lori Hamby; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Kerry Vanderpool; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Nov. 6 at Ingram Funeral Home with the Revs. Rodney Allen and Ruel Martin officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
