Michael E. McCue, 63, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 17, 2017.
Born June 30, 1954 in Kansas City, Mo., he had lived in Dawson County for the past 13 years.
During Mr. McCue’s working life he worked as an electrician and machine maintenance mechanic. Michael was a U. S. Army veteran of Vietnam, was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church and the Dawson County Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans Association No. 970. He was an avid golfer and coin collector.
His father, Ronald McCue, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Nancy McCue of Dawsonville; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Michael and Brittany McCue of Texas; grandsons, Jacob and Adrian; mother, Marie Carson of Idaho; brother, Stephen McCue of Germany; sisters, Diana McCue of Cumming, Suzanne Stelle of California, Barbara Cava of Idaho, Billie Sue McCue of Washington; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 20 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Jordan officiating.
The family received friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Dec. 19 at the funeral home.
