Melba Lynn Case

Melba Lynn Case, 66, of Dawsonville, died May 27, 2014.

Born Dec. 26, 1947, in Hall County, to the late Lawrence E. Sr. and Nadine Lynn, she had lived in Dawson County for the past 15 years.

Melba was formerly employed by Digital Interiors for several years prior to her retirement and lived a number of years in South Carolina, where she was employed by the Department of Social Services.

She was very devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

She was a member of Northside Park Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Mike McKellar of Dawsonville, Dixie and Ray Gossett Jr. of Clinton, S.C.; grandsons, Trey Gossett; sister, Lois Lynn of Dawsonville; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Lynn Lynn of Dawsonville; niece, Courtney Lynn of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. May 29 at Moss Memorial Gardens with Mike Henson and Wayne Garrett officiating.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
