Matha Tallant Tribble, 95, of Cumming, died Nov. 12, 2014.

She was a devoted wife for more than 64 years, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Tribble, a native of Forsyth County, graduated from Brenau University and was active in Alpha Chi Omega.

She taught school in Forsyth County before she married.

Her husband, P.W. Tribble Jr.; and her parents, Carl and Ethel Tallant, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Nancy Tribble Heard and her husband, James of Marietta, Joseph Tribble and his wife, Patrice of Rome, William Carl Tribble and his wife Sheron of Cumming; grandchildren, Pavan Heard Funk and her husband, Robert of Cumming, William Carl "Beau" Tribble Jr. and his wife, Krystle of Dawsonville, Amy Tribble Nolen and her husband, Phillip of Middletown, R.I., Hailey Luzny and her husband, John of Cumming; great-grandchildren, Ansleigh and Luke Funk, Charlotte and Quinn Luzny, all of Cumming, Madeline Tribble of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Nov. 15 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Orin Sampson officiating. Interment was at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
