Mary Hughes Hamby, 90, of Cumming, died Jan. 17, 2014.

Her loving husband, Cline Hamby; great-granddaughter, Madison Garcia; great-grandson, Eden Martinez and seven brothers and sisters, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Elaine Lamb; daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Earl Smith; son, Ricky C. Hamby; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Spencer Bennett; grandchildren, Chris and Julie Lamb, Stacy and Philip Furrow, Matthew and Teresa Smith, April and David Heidt, Brian Smith, Hunter Bennett, Logan Bennett, Lori and Robert Martinez, Tyler and Alicia Hamby; sister-in-law, Kathleen Hughes; brother-in-law, M.L. (Shorty) Hamby; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Jan. 20 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Revs. Gary English, Gerald Blackburn and Danny Bennett officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Flowers were accepted, or donations were requested made to Oak Grove Baptist Church Camp Fund in memory of Mary Hughes Hamby.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
