Martha Ramona Wilkie, 75, of Dawsonville, formerly of Florida, died Oct. 7, 2011.

Born Nov. 22, 1935 in Dawsonville, she was the daughter of the late Garnie Wilkie and Clifford Cox Wilkie.

Miss Wilkie had resided in the Pensacola, Fla. area for more than 50 years before returning to Georgia.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Wendell and Bernice Wilkie of Dawsonville; nephews, Brian Wilkie and Preston Wilkie and his wife, Misty; aunts, Willie Grace Mullinax and Helen Densmore, both of Jasper; uncle, W.R. Wilkie; six great-nieces and great-nephews; various other relatives also survive.

At her request, Miss Wilkie was cremated and a memorial services was held at 3 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Corinth Baptist Church with the Revs. Dennis Bottoms and Preston Wilkie officiating.

Roper Funeral Home and Crematory of Jasper was in charge of the arrangements.
