Martha Corn Grogan, 61, a native and lifelong resident of Forsyth County, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009.
She was a member of Concord Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her father, Amon L. Corn; brother, Lowell James Corn; and, nephew, Alex Emory Corn.
Survivors include her mother, Hazel Lamb Corn; sons and daughter-in-law, Joey Amon Grogan, Chris and Carla Grogan, all of Cumming; grandchildren, Ben and Nate Grogan, both of Cumming; companion pet dog, Dapples; uncles and aunts, Ernest and Bobbie Corn, Pierce and Kate Corn and Ed Wallace, Bernice and Lendan Ivey; special cousin and friend, Carolyn Wallace Dooley; special friend, Phyllis Bailey; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18 at the Concord Baptist Church with Drs. Jimmy Orr, Lester Cooper and the Rev. Tommy Lamb officiating.
Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
