Martha Ann Fambro, 72, of Dawsonville died Tuesday, June 16, 2009.

  

Mrs. Fambro was born in Charlottesville, Va. June 17, 1936. She had lived in Lumpkin County for the past 20 years and was a former longtime resident of Decatur, Ga.

  

She was a homemaker. Martha was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Lumpkin County and attended Antioch Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

  

She was the daughter of the late Monroe and Elizabeth Morris Crawford and was also preceded in death by her husband, Julius Fambro, Sr.; daughter, Janice Fambro; brothers, Percy Crawford, James Crawford and Moses Crawford.

  

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Julius and Kathy Fambro; daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Bill Middlebrook, Connie and Jerome Kitchens, Yvonne and David Lingerfelt; grandchildren, Tonya Trammell, Punky Lingerfelt, Amanda Crane, Ben and Casey Kitchens; great-grandchildren, Kyle and Kiersta Trammell, Brea and Braden Crane, Rye and Eme Lingerfelt; sister and brother-in-law, Rhoda and Dewey Pilgram; brother, Billy Crawford; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 18 at Antioch Baptist church in Lumpkin County with the Revs. Clifford Allen and Corey Ray officiating.

  

Interment followed in the Antioch Cemetery.

  Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega was in charge of the arrangements.
