Marjorie Cox Srnel, 92, of Dawsonville, formerly of Willoughby, Ohio, died Nov. 30, 2014.

Born Aug. 5, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Luigi and Josephine Foresta, she had lived in Dawson County for the past two years.

For 25 years she did volunteer service at Lake West Hospital, Immaculate Conception Church and School, and the Browning Senior Center, all in Willoughby.

Marjorie was a member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church.

Her husbands, William Cox and Joseph Srnel, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Nancy and Ron Yaussy of Dawsonville, Joyce Cox of Port Townsend, Wash.; grandchildren, Gerald Kaselak, Christy and Chris Kelley, Timothy Crowder; great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Saxton, Austin, Paul, Maggie; great-great-granddaughter, Ainsley; various other relatives also survive.

A funeral mass will be held at 3 p.m. Dec. 5 at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church with the Fr. Brian Higgins officiating. Interment will follow in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, Ohio. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Dec. 5 at the funeral home.
