Marie Micetich, 92, of Dawsonville, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010.

  

Born Jan. 23, 1918 in Chicago, Ill., to the late John and Anna Mensik, she moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. in 1955, to Roswell, Ga. in 1987 and to Dawson County in 1991.

  

She was a member of Christ Redeemer Catholic Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Micetich and a son, Joseph Micetich, Jr.

  

Survivors include her daughter, Lynne Catalon of Orange City, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, James and Diane Micetich of Dawsonville; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

  

A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10 at Christ Redeemer Catholic Church with the Msgr. Stephen Churchwell officiating.

  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Embracing Hospice, 8013 Majors Road, Cumming, GA 30041.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
