Marie F. Davenport, 81, of Dawsonville, died Feb. 23, 2015.

Born Sept. 16, 1933 in Richmond, Va., to the late Jacob and Ann Fahed, she was a member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, where she had previously participated in the choir.

Marie retired from U.S. Airlines in 1995 and moved to Georgia shortly afterwards.

Survivors include her four daughters, Brigid Boothe, Juanita Blankinship, Brenda Carrino, Melinda Scully; nine grandchildren, Shane Scully, Anna Marie Johnson, Angela Boothe, David Scully, Courtney Johnson, Steven Johnson, Brigid Scully, Anthony Carrino, Victoria Carrino; various other relatives also survive.

A memorial mass was held at 11 a.m. Feb. 27 at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church with the Fr. Brian Higgins officiating. Following the service, she was put to rest with her family in Richmond, Va.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to the Christ the Redeemer Building Fund, 991 Kilough Church Rd., Dawsonville, GA 30534.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
