Marie Berna Davis, 80, of Dawsonville, died Nov. 8, 2010.
Born Nov. 14, 1929 in Ft. Kent, Maine to the late Adelard and Leona Dumond, she had lived in Georgia since 1947.
A homemaker at her death, she was formerly employed at Pine Tree in Dahlonega.
Mrs. Davis was of the Baptist faith.
Her husband of 55 years, Lumas T. "L.T." Davis; and a brother, Roger Dumond, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Byrd and Linda Davis of Carrollton, John "Jadie" and Judy Davis of Dahlonega, Keith and Rhonda Davis, Paul Davis, all of Dawsonville; sisters, Betty Wilkes, N. Kingston, R.I., Rinette Corbin of Phoenix, Ariz., June Caron of Auburn, Maine; brothers, Joe Dumond of Temple, Ray Dumond of Loudon, N.H.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 at Bethel Baptist Church with the Revs. Stephen Davis and Michael Rodgers officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
