Margie Louise Haygood, 79, of Webster, Fla. and formerly of Dawsonville, died Feb. 28, 2012.

She was born Jan. 6, 1933, in Cobb County.

Mrs. Haygood was a homemaker and she liked quilting.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Powder Springs in Georgia and she attended the First Baptist Church of Webster.

Mrs. Haygood enjoyed being in the outdoors and camping with her family.

She also enjoyed working in her garden in her younger years.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Ralph L. Haygood Jr. of Webster, Fla.; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Tammy Haygood of Jacksonville, Fla., Jerry and Cathy Haygood of Webster, Fla. and David and Charlene Haygood of Dadeville, Ala.; daughter and son-in-law, Margie and Don Grant of Ocala, Fla.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Hoyt and Jean Morgan of Powder Springs, Douglas and Carloe Morgan of Rome, Robert and Lynn Morgan of Dallas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Charles Thomason of Dallas and Darlene and Jerry Moore of Cave Springs; various other relatives also survive.

Services were held at noon, March 5 at the First Baptist Church of Webster with the Pastors Gene Bohner and Don Grant officiating. Interment followed at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.

Purcell Funeral Home of Bushnell, Fla. was in charge of the arrangements.
