Margie Lee Beavers, 74, of Ellijay, died March 4, 2017.

She was a loving mama and nana, who took anyone in to her home and took care of them.

Margie will be missed by those she loved.

She was the daughter of the late Earnest and Leonia Rider Reece.

Her husband, Allen Beavers; and son, Robert Reece, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Tony Grindle of Ellijay; daughter and fiancé, Brenda Lester and Richard Johnson of Ellijay; daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Bobby Grant of Dawsonville; daughters, Becky Hardin of Ellijay, Joann Milum of Dahlonega; brother, Harold Reece of Dawsonville; sisters, Tamer Turner, Louise Smith, Vundell Rice, all of Dawsonville; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. March 8 at Mill Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Joseph Simmons and Tim Pruitt officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Banister Funeral Home
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
