Margie Frances Shiver, 90, of North Little Rock, Ark. died Jan. 24, 2014.

She was born in Morgan, Ga., to James W. and Eula Mae Clower Avera, and was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Morgan.

Her parents and her husband, Col. Morris Eugene Shiver (USAF Retired); sons, Randal Eugene Shiver and Donald "Duke" Lee Shiver, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Henry Robison and wife, Catherine of Sherwood; daughters-in-law, Betty Shiver of Huntsville, Ala., Rebecca Shiver of Macon; sister-in-law, Jimmie Clark of Albany; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

A family celebration was held at 10 a.m. Jan. 27, at Sherwood Funeral Home in Arkansas.

She was interred with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, memorials were asked to be made to the charity of your choice.

Sherwood Funeral Home of Arkansas was in charge of the arrangements.
