Margaret "Snookie" Anderson, 60, of Gainesville, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009.

Born May 16, 1949 to the late Vernie and Mardell Bryant, she lived most of her life in Forsyth County. She formerly owned and operated Nanny's Café and was a member of the Rock of Christ Church.

Her daughter, Valissa Welchel; and brother, J.C. Gilreath, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Nina Woods of Gainesville; grandson, Bailey Woods of Gainesville; brothers, Robert Bryant of Cumming, Lewis Bryant of Dawsonville; nephew, Stacy Bryant of Dawsonville; niece, Diane Howell of West Palm Beach, Fla.; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Bryant officiating.

The family will receive friends beginning at noon on Nov. 21.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to offset final expenses.
