Marcus Walls, 63, of Dawsonville, died Sept. 7, 2010.

  

Born April 5, 1947 in Cumming, to the late Guy and Myrtle Walls, he had lived in Dawson County for the past 15 years.

  

Mr. Walls was a retired sewing machine mechanic.

  

His sister, Willene Brooks, preceded him in death.

  

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Walls of Dawsonville; children, Rhonda and Matt Howard of Cumming, Cory and Liz Walls, Anna and Kyle Headrick, all of Dawsonville; special niece, Dakota Mathews of Dawsonville; sisters, Lillian Brooks, Oretta Trammell, Dorothy Collins, Voncile Smith, all of Cumming; brother, Sherrell Walls of Cumming; grandchildren, Zachary Howard, Seth Howard, Chase Walls, Emma Walls, Ryan Headrick; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sept. 10 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Keowan officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
