Marcell Hubbard Holtzclaw, 84, of Dawsonville, died Wednesday, March 4, 2009.

Originally from Cumming, Mrs. Holtzclaw lived in Dawson County for most of her life.

  

Mrs. Holtzclaw was a homemaker and a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.

  

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

  

Her husband, Lester Holtzclaw; and, grandsons, Kevin Manders, Brandon Bobo, Ralph Dallas, Jr. and Tony Dallas preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Wansley and W.C. Parker of Clermont, Alice and Mark West of Dawsonville, Dorothy and Gerry Sullivan, Janice and Bryan McMillan, all of Cumming, Tammie and Doug Hildebrant of Jasper; sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Gwinnett Holtzclaw, Johnny and Vama Holtzclaw, all of Dawsonville, Michael and Sandy Holtzclaw of Cumming; sister, Helen Born of Cumming; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Billy Autry, Ronnie Sosebee, Johnny Holtzclaw and Tony Holtzclaw officiating.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
