Mangram Arthur Elzey, 72, of Cumming, died Dec. 5, 2011.

He was a member of Cumming Second Baptist Church for 60 years.

Mangram was also a member of the Ducktown Masonic Lodge F&AM 572 and The Royal Arch of Lafayette Lodge.

He was a master electrician at General Motors for 25 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping in his free time.

He was an avid outdoorsman, but he loved the Lord the best.

His parents, Harley and Agnes Elzey; father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Grace Kuykendall and his brothers-in-law, Lewis Coleman and Roy Stewart, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Kathryn Kuykendall Elzey; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and the Rev. Nathan Martin; sister, Ruby Coleman; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Jimmy Dixon; brother and sister-in-law, the Rev. Melvin and Anita Elzey; grandchildren, Jonathan and Joshua Martin; sister-in-law, Barbara Stewart; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Dec. 7 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Revs. Sam Rickett, Nathan Martin and Melvin Elzey officiating. Interment followed at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to the Cumming Second Baptist Church, 1880 Dr. Bramblett Road, Cumming, GA 30028.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
