Maggie Cordilia Abbott, 91, of Alpharetta, died June 28, 2013.

Maggie liked to spend her time putting puzzles together, doing word search and working crossword puzzles.

She was also a great cook.

Her husband, Eulon Abbott; sons, Baby Abbott, Kimsey Abbott and his wife Jolene; daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and Harry Burns; five sisters and two brothers, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Harold Palmour of Canton; grandchildren, Eulon and Penny Burns, Lisa and Larry Holland, Chuck and Candie Palmour, Allen Burns, James Abbott, John Palmour, Kimberly and Frank Ross, Terri Palmour; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Annie Mae Elrod of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. June 30 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Watson officiating. Interment followed at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
