Madge Holloway, 81, of Ball Ground, died July 1, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pledger Holloway; and grandchildren, Jessica Ray and Bryce Roper.

Survivors include her children, Larry and Leonard Holloway of Ball Ground, Romona Floyd of Hartwell and Katherine Hensley of Dawsonville; siblings, Billy Goforth and Portia Hensley of Marble Hill, Robbie Gene McElwayne of Marietta; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. July 5 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with the Revs. Gary Kowen and John Henderson officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Sosebee Funeral Home of Canton was in charge of the arrangements.
