Lynn Nahlik, 62, of Dawsonville, died Sept. 22, 2018.
Born July 27, 1956 to the late Lyman and Bronscile “Tommie” Bennett, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County.
A 1974 honor graduate of Dawson County High School she also graduated from Gainesville Junior College. Lynn was employed as a paralegal for Polatty & Sullivan attorneys for 44 years. Since her teenage years she served as the organist at Bethel United Methodist Church and was the organist at Lumpkin Campground.
She loved to travel, going to Bible Study and spending time with her family and friends. Most of all she loved being a Grandma. Lynn was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
Her sister, Marla Lemley, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Brandon and Stacey Nahlik, Kaycee and Noah Hayes, both of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Abel Nahlik, Coralyn Nahlik; a number of other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Sept. 25 at Bethel United Methodist Church. Dr. David Sanders officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
The family received friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sept. 24 at the funeral home.
