Lynn Farmer Bennett, 60, of Dawsonville, died Feb. 6, 2017.
Bennett was born May 28, 1956 to the late Jack and Jeanette Farmer. She had been a resident of Dawsonville for almost 40 years after spending her early life in Tucker and Forsyth County.
A devoted wife and mother, she loved the Lord and worked for a number of years as a paraprofessional and bus driver for the Dawson County School System.
Lynn was an avid gardener and enjoyed watching her daughters play sports.
She was preceded in death by brothers Doug Farmer, Ira Farmer and Nathan Farmer.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Anthony "Tony" Bennett of Dawsonville; daughters and sons-in-law, Katie and Brandon Griggs, Cheyenne and Frankie Truelove, all of Dawsonville; brother and sister-in-law, Phil and Pam Farmer of Canton; a number of nieces, nephews; various other relatives also survive.
Memorial services were held Feb. 10 at 4 p.m. at Dawsonville Baptist Church. Rev. Danny Ray Martin officiated.
The family received friends at the church from 3 p.m. until the service hour. In lieu of flowers the family requested donations be made to help offset final expenses.
Bearden Funeral Home in Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
