Louise T. McCurdy, 90, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 28, 2016.

Born Dec. 14, 1925 in Richmond, Va., to the late Frank and Viola Fowler, she lived in Dawsonville for the past five years, having moved from Gainesville.

Louise was a devoted wife, mother and held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren.

Her husband, John McCurdy, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, John and Terry McCurdy, James McCurdy, Mark McCurdy, Jeff and Teresa McCurdy, Greg McCurdy and Julie Hillyer; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

The family received friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 30 at the funeral home.
