Lonald Holtzclaw, 69, of Cumming, died Oct. 17, 2010.

  

Lonald was a longtime member of Concord Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was a member of the Oasis Choir and the Jimmy Moore Sunday School class. He served the Lord on Missions in Jamaica and Africa, where he helped build churches.

  

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

  

Survivors include his wife, Opal Holtzclaw; children, David and Gina Holtzclaw, Sherry and Mark Juergens, all of Cumming; grandchildren, Jake and Caleb Holtzclaw, Joshua and Katelyn Juergens; sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara and Bill Mitchell, Margaret Carlyle, all of Gainesville, Sandra Hamby of Dawsonville; brothers and sister-in-law, Donald and Eva Holtzclaw, Larry Holtzclaw, all of Dawsonville; Johnny Holtzclaw of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Oct. 19 at Concord Baptist Church with Dr. Lester Cooper and the Rev. Rubin Smith officiating.

  

Interment followed at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.

  

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to the Concord Baptist Church building fund. Concord Baptist Church, 6905 Concord Road, Cumming, GA 30028.

  

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
