Lois C. Gober, 91, of Dawsonville, died Saturday, April 4, 2009.

  

Mrs. Gober was a lifelong resident of Dawson County.

  

A homemaker at her death, for many years along with her husband, she owned and operated a poultry farm.

  

She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

  

Her husband, Robert Gober; daughter, Betty Gober Allen; parents, Ervin and Mary Collins; and several sisters and brothers, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Thompson of Dawsonville; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Randy and Susan Allen of Dawsonville; great-grandson, Patrick Allen of Dawsonville; sisters-in-law, Betty Gober and Virginia Cagle, both of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, April 5 at Bethel United Methodist Church with the Revs. David Gravitt and Hugh Fields officiating.

  

Interment followed in the church cemetery.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
