Linda Davis, 63, of Dawsonville, died Jan. 11, 2015.

Born March 23, 1951 in Hall County, she lived in Dawson County for the past 33 years, having moved from Lumpkin County.

Linda was employed at Farmers Home Furniture in Gainesville for several years.

Prior to her employment at Farmers, for 21 years she served as a caregiver and nanny for a family in Dahlonega.

She was considered a dream maker, wish granter and hope giver.

Her father, Ray Adams; and a sister, Shelby Adams, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, James Davis of Dawsonville; children, Darin Davis of Dawsonville, Jamie and Tony Boggus of Dahlonega; mother, Juanita Adams of Lula; grandchildren, Shawn Davis, Danielle Davis, Joey Boggus, Kyler Boggus, Jamison Boggus; great-grandson, Jeremy Davis; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elaine and Tony Parris of Gainesville, Regina and Billy Sheriff of Dahlonega, Tommie Adams of Winder, Martha and Stephen Stanfill of Lula; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bodie and Evelyn Adams of Ila, James and Debbie Adams of Dahlonega, Junior Adams of Clermont, Jeff and Deb Adams of Lula; mother-in-law, Ruby Davis of Dahlonega; special people in her life, Bonnie and David Morris, David Morris Jr., Michelle Morris; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 14 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Mike Owens, Jimmy Wilbanks and Ray Strickland officiating. Interment followed in the New Life Church of God Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to assist with final expenses.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
