Lillie Stone Christopher, 87, of Cumming, died July 30, 2016.

She was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Dawsonville.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and mother-in-law.

Her husband, John W. Christopher; daughter, Clara Jane Christopher; parents, Henry Stone and Jenny Stone; granddaughter, Brittany Walker; grandson, Kenneth Chambers; brothers, Lee Stone, Tom Stone, Millard Stone, Cecil Stone; sisters, Sarah Lackey, Doris Grier; and lifelong friend, Ella Adams, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Grady and Racheal Christopher of Dawsonville, Jackie and Shelia Christopher of Canton, John Anthony Christopher of Murphy, N.C.; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Jimmy Adams of Cumming, Robin and Johnny Staton of Cumming, Lisa and Eddie Nelson of Gainesville; brother and sister-in-law, James and Ruth Stone of Woodstock; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Donald Brownlee of Lawrenceville; 18 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Aug. 2 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Revs. Jackie Christopher, Scott Christopher and Joe Christopher officiating. Interment followed at Warsaw Cemetery in Alpharetta at 2 p.m.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
