Lillian Dunn, 87, of Dawsonville, died July 15, 2014.

Born June 23, 1927 in Hutchinson, Kan., to the late Ralph and Sadie Purvis, she had lived in Dawson County for the past eight years, having moved from San Diego.

Lillian was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant and a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Pilgrim Mill Ward and had served diligently in her church in San Diego and Dahlonega.

Her husband, Hobert Dunn Sr. and several sisters and brothers, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Hobert Jr. and Janet Dunno of Phoenix, Ariz., Michael and Nina Dunn of Dawsonville, Nova and John Reagles of Oak Harbor, Wash.; sisters, Esther Luke, Carol Mitchel, both of Kansas; brothers, James Purvis of California, Joseph Purvis of Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services were held at 5:30 p.m. July 19 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Dahlonega Ward.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
