Leonard E. Skip Comeau

Leonard E. "Skip" Comeau, 70, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 20, 2016.

Born Aug. 12, 1946 in Norwood, Mass., to the late Oliver and Agnes Comeau, he had lived in Dawson County for more than 30 years.

Mr. Comeau formerly owned and operated a forklift repair service.

A U.S. Army veteran, he was very outgoing and was always helping others.

Skip enjoyed spending time at the Dawson County Senior Center.

Survivors include his sisters and brother-in-law, Rosanne Comeau of Ashland, N.H., Annette Comeau, Paula and Henry Hall, all of Alexandria, N.H., Loretta Comeau of Plymouth, N.H.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald Comeau of Dover, N.H., Robert and Terry Comeau of Ashland, N.H., Roger and Lynn Comeau of Hebron, N.H, Francis and Lynda Comeau of Alexandria N.H.; various other relatives also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Dec. 28 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Dec. 28 at the funeral home.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville is in charge of the arrangements.
