Len Moore, 65, of Dawsonville, died April 5, 2011.

 

Len was a member of Silver City Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and a member of the choir.

 

He was a Vietnam Army veteran and a member of the American Legion.

 

His parents, Truel and Tennie Moore; brothers, Junior, Dale, Mike, Jimmy Billy and Glenn; sisters, Judy Saunders and her husband Pat, Edith Looper and Ruby Moore, preceded him in death.

 

Len was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a good friend to many.

 

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Carolyn Gravitt Moore of Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Tabatha and John Glover of Dawsonville; son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Heather Moore of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Kristy Moore of Dawsonville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jama and J.L. Evans, Ruth and Edwin Looper, all of Dawsonville; brother and sister-in-law, Hugh and Louise Moore of Cumming; grandchildren, Hunter and Anna Glover, A.J., Reese and Kobe Moore; sisters-in-law, Susie, Jess, Shirley and Sandra Moore, all of Dawsonville; brother-in-law, Leonard Looper of Dawsonville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James and Doris Gravitt, Joyce Gravitt, Susie Gravitt, all of Dawsonville, Patsy and Preston Worley, Ronnie and Linda Gravitt, Harold and Linda Gravitt, all of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.

 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. April 8 at Silver City Baptist Church with the Revs. Tim Biddy, Wilson Pruitt, Steven Davis, Scott Sorrells and Shannon Westbrook officiating. Interment followed at Silver City Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
