Larry Perkins

Larry Perkins, 60, of Dawsonville, died Dec. 14, 2012.

Born Feb. 27, 1952, to the late Raymond and Dora Berma Perkins, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County.

Mr. Perkins was formerly employed as a machinist for Potter and Rayfield for 14 years and was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church.

His brother, Eugene Perkins; and sisters-in-law, Francis Long Perkins and Ann Green Perkins, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Scott Tatum of Dawsonville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Shirel Perkins, Danny Perkins, David and Sandra Perkins, all of Dawsonville, Rodney Perkins of Daytona Beach, Fla., Susan Perkins of Monticello, Minn.; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 17 at Sweetwater Baptist Church with the Revs. Tom Stradley, Mark Flowers and Darrin Sams officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested made to offset final expenses.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
