Larry John Cantrell

Larry John Cantrell, 63, of Cumming, died July 22, 2010.

  

Born in Hall County, he was the son of the late Christie and Kathleen Cantrell.

  

A graduate of Chestatee School, he worked at American Proteins for 10 years.

  

An avid NASCAR fan, he also loved to sit on the porch of his home and watch traffic pass.

  

Survivors include his children, Kris (John) Bolton of Dawsonville, Melissa Cantrell, Kea (Robbie) Woody, Jill Pendley, all of Cumming, Rachael Cantrell, Jacob (Tiffany) Cantrell, all of Gainesville; brother, Lanny (Dianne) Cantrell of Cumming; sisters, Kathy (Phil) Holbrook, Donna (Ricky) Layman, all of Cumming; special friend and fiancé, Jenny Swanson of Cumming; grandchildren, Ashley Bolton, Blake Bolton, Ethan Cantrell, Dayton Cantrell, Braxton Woody, Chelsey Pendley, Layla Pendley, Reyce Pendley; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. July 25 in the chapel of McDonald and Son

 

Funeral Home with the Revs. Ruel Martin, Danny Bennett and Gerald Blackburn officiating. Interment followed at Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.

  

McDonald and Son Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
