Larry Jewell Dixon, 57, of Dawsonville, died Oct. 6, 2011.

He was a member of Settingdown Baptist Church.

His sister, Sandra Dixon; grandparents, Ivous and Daisy Dixon and Fletcher and Annie Maude Cash, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his parents, Jewell and Ruth Dixon of Dawsonville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Margie Dixon, Danny and Donna Dixon Roger, Debbie Dixon Raymond and Sue Dixon, all of Dawsonville; sister, Kathy Beasley of Dawsonville; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Oct. 9 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Revs. Tony Estes and L.C. Bennett officiating. Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
