Larry Hashley, 59, of Dahlonega, died Wednesday, May 6, 2009.

  

Born in Jackson, Mich., Mr. Hashley had lived in Lumpkin County for the past 17 years having moved from Dawson County.

  

He had been employed as a driver for Fulton Concrete for 23 years and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of Vietnam.

  

He was a member of New Life Church of God and was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Leona Hashley.

  

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Terrey Hashley of Dahlonega; daughter and son-in-law, Nickie and Jimmie Rogers of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Martie Rogers and Korrie Rogers; sister, Bonnie Barnes of Lancing, Mich.; brother, Gene Hashley of Lancin, Mich.; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 10 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Charles Pritchett, Jammie Fortner and Mike Owens officiating.

  

Interment followed in the New Life Church of God Cemetery.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
