LaQuita Wade Castleberry, 79, of Blue Ridge, died Sept. 17, 2011.

She lived most of her life in Cumming.

She was a charter member of Cumming Baptist Church.

LaQuita loved traveling and dancing. Her parents, Sidney Clayton and Magolene Barfield, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Marilynn Walker of Cumming, Chris and Carolyn Walker of Dawsonville; brother and sister-in-law, Sidney and Janette Barfield of Cumming; sister, Patsy Culver of Cumming; uncle, Lindsey Shiver; nieces, Stacey and husband Rick Posey, Stephanie and husband Gary Holton, Darice and husband Bob Shiver; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 21 at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Barry Crocker officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cumming Baptist Church Building Fund, 115 Church Street, Cumming, GA 30040.
