Kolton Findley, 18, of Dawsonville, died Friday, April 17, 2009.

  

Born in Montgomery, Ala., he moved to Dawson County in 2000 from Gwinnett County.

  

Mr. Findley was a senior at Dawson County High School, where he was active in drama and the arts. He was serving an apprenticeship at Lava Hair Studio.

  

Survivors include his mother, Katrina Bishop of Dawsonville; father, Greg Findley of Deatsville, Ala.; sister, Hannah Findley of Dawsonville; brother, Zechariah Bishop of Dawsonville; grandparents, Janet Gamble of St. Ignace, Mich., Mary Ann Callaway of Montgomery; great-grandmother, Lane Simmons of St. Ignace; uncles, Glen Callaway of Augusta, Jamie Wadsworth of Dawsonville, James Lee Wadsworth of St. Ignace, Steve Smiley of Dunwoody, Phillip Hunt of Alaska; aunts, Amberlynn Levans of Montgomery, Susan Clotfelter of Dacula, Denise Cripple, Pam Lunsford, both of Deatsville, Kim Tumlin of College Park; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services were 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 21 at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.

  

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
