Kenneth Kirby, 65, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010.

  

He was born and raised in Forsyth County and later moved to Dawson County.

  

He was of the Baptist faith.

  

His parents, Robert "Big Gene" and Willene Kirby; siblings, Patricia Kirby and Robert "Little Gene" Kirby Jr., preceded him in death.

  

He will always be remembered as a loving and giving husband, father and very loving grandfather.

  

Survivors include his wife, Delores Kirby of Dawsonville; children, Michelle and Clinton Crane of Dahlonega, Steven Kirby of Dawsonville, Marlene and Chris Moreau of Cumming; grandchildren, Heather and Dustin Hendrix, Macy Moreau, all of Cumming, Justin Crane of Dahlonega; his best friend, his dog Cocomo; various other relatives also survive.

  

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24 at Byars Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at City Cemetery in Cumming.

  

Byars Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Cumming is in charge of the arrangements.
