Kathleen Pinion Anderson Goswick, 85, of Dawsonville, died April 7, 2018.
Born March 9, 1933 to the late John and Ruby Pinion, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. A homemaker at her death, she was formerly employed by Hasco. Kathleen was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and was a member of Dawsonville Baptist Church.
Her husband, David Goswick; sisters, Louise Bradford, Eloise Bramblett, Edith Gee, Susie McGahee; brothers, Cliff Pinion, Tommy Pinion; and her first husband, Gene Anderson, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Ronnie and Kim Anderson of Dawsonville, Donnie Anderson of Dawsonville, Debbie Sexton of Cumming, Ricky and Dianne Goswick of Dawsonville, Karen Castleberry of Dawsonville, Denise and Carroll Jennings of Dawsonville, Randy Goswick of Dawsonville, Janet and Tim Byrd of Dawsonville; 27 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Porter of Hapeville; sister-in-law, Annie Lou Pinion of Dawsonville; special cousin, Ellie Lou “Eddielou” Neal of Cumming; various other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. April 10 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dusty Holtzclaw and Rev. John Nash officiating. Interment followed in the Dawsonville City Cemetery.
The family received friends from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 9 at the funeral home.
