Junie Phillips Fagan, 91, of Cumming, died April 22, 2014.

She was a member of Brookwood Baptist Church.

Junie was born and raised in Old Milton County, now Fulton County. She moved to Forsyth County in 1946 when she married her husband, William Fagan Sr.

William was a grocer in Cumming for 50 years.

Junie was a teacher at Forsyth County High School for six years and then became the secretary at Cumming Elementary for 25 years, where she was loved and admired.

The job was her calling to help children and parents.

Her husband, William Fagan Sr., preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Ken Quintana of Cumming; son and daughter-in-law, William Jr. and Deana Fagan of Cumming; grandchildren, Zachariah and Haley Quintana, William III and Caleb Fagan; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. April 25 at Brookwood Baptist Church with the Revs. Donnie Nix, Gerral Richards and Randy Richards officiating. Interment followed in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory of Cumming was in charge of the arrangements.
