June Shaw, 71, of Dawsonville, died June 21, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness.  Born in Barnesville, Ga., Mrs. Shaw had lived in Dawson County for 29 years having moved from Sugar Hill.  She was formerly employed at Loveable in Buford.  After moving to Dawson County, along with her husband they owned and operated Shaw Automotive and Transmission.  June was an active member of Sweetwater Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Davis; parents, Edgar and Lucille Nolan; grandson, Robert Jones; sister, Linda Polk.  Survivors include her husband, Cliff Shaw of Dawsonville; children, Anna and Pat Allen of Cumming, Russell Davis of Gainesville, Alicia  Davenport, Tammy Davis Shope, Cliff Shaw III, all of Dawsonville, Robert and Janie Shaw of Tucker, Gerald Shaw of Doraville; sisters, Wanda Cummings of Newborn, Audrey Price of Rutledge; brother, Edgar Nolan of Porterdale; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; various other relatives also survive.  Funeral services were Monday, June 23 at 2 p.m. at Sweetwater Baptist Church with Revs. Mark Flowers and William Blackwell officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations were requested to be made to the Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, 855 Abutment Road, Suite 6, Dalton, GA 30721.  Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
