June Chamberlain, 82, of Dahlonega, died Jan. 14, 2018. June was born June 14, 1935 in Iaeger, W. Va. to the late Oscar and Grace Anglin. She was proud of her West Virginia heritage as a coal miner’s daughter. After moving to St. Cloud, Fla. in the 1950s, June was an active student at St. Cloud High School where she played softball, basketball and volleyball until she graduated in 1953. After high school she earned a degree in accounting and worked as a bookkeeper at St. Cloud High School for 30 years until her retirement in 2002.
