Judy Truelove, 68, of Dawsonville, died March 28, 2015.

Born Jan. 19, 1947 to the late Howard and Kizzie Mae Pruett, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. A homemaker at her death, Judy was formerly employed by Sweet-Orr and was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church.

Her brother, Morris Pruett, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Scarlett Truelove, Gary and Julie Truelove, all of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Kaden Truelove, Pierce Truelove, McKayla Truelove, McKendra Truelove; sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris Wright, Ellen and Andy Adams, all of Dawsonville, Lois and Larry Byers of Dahlonega; various other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. March 31 in the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Max Padgett officiating. Interment followed in the Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations were requested to help assist with final expenses.

Bearden Funeral Home of Dawsonville was in charge of the arrangements.
